SEAWATER FARMS BAHIA KINO

Fully integrated seawater farm with aquaculture, halophytic agriculture, mangroves and constructed wetland. Within 2 years of operation, the farm exported shrimp and salicornia tips to EU countries and increased avian diversity by 10X.

Designed as a fully integrated seawater farm in Southern Spain along the Guadalquivir River. The river experiences seawater influx making conventional freshwater crops unviable.
